Preparing for a Reading

Preparation plays an important part in a successful reading. My experience is that students who have read one of my books, or had one read to them, will be more engaged in my presentation. Preparation might involve responding in written, oral, or visual form to questions about the story they have read. Students could compose a question they would like to ask about some aspect of the novel or about the process of writing and publishing.
